ChemBox™

Block is currently developing the ChemBox™. ChemBox™ utilizes the same MEMS chip with the ChemPen™, but it does not have the miniaturized electronics and is less sensitive (parts per million meter). It is therefore bigger in size and weight and operates in conjunction with a user-supplied laptop.

ChemBox™ is expected to be generally available by the Summer of 2009. The target markets will be in the Research (Teaching, Pharmaceutical Drug Development) and Protection (Incoming Inspection, QA/QC) fields.
